Park District Rangers and mowed through the County Maintenance Department.
This fishing area, one of the few in Wood
County, features a 12-acre pond. Some areas of the pond
are as deep as 11 feet. The pond permits bank fishing only and is open April - October. Species in the pond include:
Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, and other species.
Boating, ice fishing, swimming, wading, and ice skating are
prohibited.
-
Bass
is catch and release at this time.
-
Bluegill
and catfish can be kept.
-
No
live fish such as minnows may be used for bait. Worms and artificial bait are fine.
-
Picnic tables and a portable restroom located on site.
-
Please
do not release any fish from other ponds or rivers. The Park District does
not want other species of fish in the pond. Small minnows can turn
into large carp and ruin the fishery.

and children may fish. Adults must be licensed. Children may fish without
the presence of an adult.
-
No
swimming or wading permitted.
-
Please
do not clean fish in the park or dispose of remains in the park.

Follow
all State of Ohio fishing rules and regulations including licensing

A Creel Survey Volunteer or Ranger may request information from you. Creel
Survey Volunteers will not ask for fishing licenses or enforce any rules. They
may, however, notify the Ranger of any violations.
